  Lots of waterfalls

Favorite thing: Hello, best time to visit? The Real answer is there is never a bad time to see or visit Thailand!Keep in mind that it's really a matter of opinion, but...
I would suggest early or any time during the month of Novemeber. First the rainy season has pretty much just ended. You may get a rain shower here but that can be a neat experience. It's pretty hot and I always look forward to a little rain here and there. Second, the flora and fauna is alive and well. If you venture anywhere near the jungle or are around hills or mountians there are bound to be waterfalls. They can be really refreshing and lots of fun to take a dip and cool off in. Everything is much greener than it will be as months go on from Oct/Nov. By Feb Mar everything is much drier and actually turning brown. Not very noticable unless you see it during or after the rainy season. The jungle can be so lush and colorful. Last, and I am sure there are many more reasons, the tourist season has not geared up yet. It's just starting as of 1 Nov but tourists really are in Thailand in lots of numbers by December January. Unless you were diving, this is the time frame I would choose.
Have fun!
