El Capricho Extremeño in the Rastro area
by Jefie

I went to the Rastro with my friend Luis and one of the very cool things about hanging out with local people is that they can point you in the right direction when you get hungry! Judging from the line that stretched down the street, El Capricho Extremeño is THE place to eat when you go to the Rastro. This small, deli-like place sells all sorts of cheese, cold cuts and desserts, but it is mostly popular for its yummy sandwiches! I went for a tortilla sandwich, which was really good and filling, but if you're more adventurous than I am, then you might be able to take advantage of the wide variety of seafood sandwiches offered. Oh, and it's really cheap too!
