Museu Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisbon: 42 reviews and 93 photos

The Gulbenkian has a fantastic collection of Moorish artefacts, paintings (Gainsborough, Rubens, Monet) and the Lalique jewellery. However, the state of some exhibits are pretty appalling - ancient tapestries exposed to the hands and legs of the public; I could almost breathe onto Monet.

Do not be deceived by the run down exterior and poor state of upkeeping of the interior - the Gulbenkian has some real treasures you won't see elsewhere.
