La Grottino /a: "Deliciouso" Italy Restaurant Tip by KB&MC

Italy Restaurants: 272 reviews and 262 photos

Some of the best food we had in Riomaggiore.
Nice, laid back atmosphere.
There's even a few options on the menu for kids (eg fried calamari)

Favorite Dish: Carpaccio of fennel and cuttlefish. Might sound strange, but it is oh so, delicious & light.
Any of the pasta dishes - the best we've had in Italy so far.
Buridda: prawn/fish stew, slightly spicy, and a bit fiddly - peeling prawns and shrimps with a knife and fork - but very, very yummy.
Can't remember the names of our desserts, but they were good. And the perfect accompaniment to Sciacchetrà - the dessert wine. (Be warned - 8 euro a glass).

Address: On the main street
Price Comparison: about average
Directions: Right next door to La Grotto, and opposite La Lampara
Price: US$31-40
