The Metro of Madrid was inaugurated on 17 October 1.919 by King Alfonso XIII, and nowadays (May 2008), it has more than 280 kms., 14 lines, 292 stations and it is used by over 700 million costumers yearly.
Anden 0 is the old station of Chameberí (that belonged to line 1) whch was closed in 1.966 and reopened in March 2.008 to show the History of the metro; the station itself keeps the ancient style it had when it was closed.

Metro: Ríos Rosas (line 1) and Bilbao (lines 1 and 4).
Bus: 3, 40 and 147.
From Tuesday to Saturday: 11 to 19 (11 am to 9 pm).
Sunday: 10 to 14 (10 am to 2 pm).
