The Golden Tulip INN (!): "Staff-training badly needed !" `En Boqeq Hotel Tip by WStat

First: don't mix up the hotel's name with the (seemingly better) "Golden Tulip Privilege". Although pretending to be a 4-star hotel, there is much left to be desired, primarily dealing with service.
If you don't worry about a brisk and not very friendly receptionist,if you want to fetch your drink from the Lobby Bar to serve it to your table yourself, if you want to be sent by the barman to the reception to pay for your drink,if you want to order a glass of wine in the restaurant 3 times with no result whatsoever and - above all - if you want to relax by the pool after 5pm behind a plastic-fence, hindering you from entering the pool ("I'm paid from 8 till 5, if the hotel pays me for more, I'm ready to close the pool later", states the poolman) - then this hotel may be right for you.
Otherwise - inspite of modern equipped rooms and good food - you should seriously think about booking one of the neighboring hotels, foremost the "Meridien"
