If you want to make sure you get a table on a weekend make the reservation at least a month before. The summer is the slowest time of year ,so it may not be necessary then.
The jazz brunch at Commanders is outstanding. Great music that's non intrusive. The trio travels from room to room so everyone can enjoy.
It's a little more formal than most tourists are use to but worth the time to experience. It's not unusal to see jackets for lunch (business casual is OK also)and they are required for dinner.
Favorite Dish: The lunch at Commanders is more than reasonable priced for a world class restaurant.DO NOT SKIP DESSERT. .
They used to have 25 cent martini's......the pecan crusted drumfish is outstanding, and the bread pudding souffle is worth a flight from anywhere.
