This neogothic church in the heart of Cape Town was built in . Perhaps, in Europe it wouldn?t attract that much attraction for its architecture, but in Cape Town it is a true exception. The rhuch is located at the entry to the Company Gardens, the center of colonial architecture in Cape Town. Cecil Rhodes funeral Ceremony was held here and a statue of the famous colonist can be seen in the Company Gardens. Today, the church is better known for another famous man: Archbishop Desmond Tutu once preached here and so the church became a focus point of the anti-apartheid movement.

The church and the Company Gardens a point where you?ll see many tourists. Please be careful with your items as pickpockets and other petty criminals are not uncommon in these area.

Directions: City Bowl, close to Company Gardens
