Cafe Degas: "French Bistro in New Orleans" Cafe Degas Tip by jakelorenzo

Cafe Degas, New Orleans: 1 reviews and 0 photos

Cafe Degas has indoor and patio dining, a small bar and makes you feel like you are sitting in a lush garden. Housemade pates are very good, as are the soups. They have a nice touch with duck and lamb. Then of course all of the standards; steak and frites, mussels, and escargot. Degas is a local neighborhood restaurant, supported by the neighborhood and serves consistently delicious food. They also have a nice wine list that doesn't gouge you on the prices. They also have revolving art shows from a variety of local artists including the owner.

Favorite Dish: Duck confit or any soup.
