Ubiquitous Chip: "another institution!" Ubiquitous Chip Tip by iaint

Ubiquitous Chip, Glasgow: 7 reviews and 4 photos

Who wants to eat in an institution, I hear you ask!

Well try this one. Its been there since 1973, so they must do something right. They do change things around from time to time, so that keeps things fresh and shows they're not complacent. In a place like Glasgow its important to be able to find a place which is solid and established - not just the newest "trendy" opening.

Reknowned for a great wine list, and for offering Scottish dishes using local produce.

Has an informal brasserie as well as the normal restaurant. Check out the website for more info.

Bright and airy interior, which helps create the atmosphere.
