"Masonic Temple: Executive Chamber" Masonic Temple Tip by dek516
Masonic Temple, Washington D.C.: 3 reviews and 4 photos
The Executive Chamber is probably the Temple's most impressive room. 33 chairs are in the room, one for each of the 33 members of the Supreme Council. The Council's meetings are held here, led by the Grand Commander, who has the largest seat in the room. In the center of the chamber books from several religions are laid open as a reminder that Free Masons do not subscribe to or endorse any particular religion, but rather use the philosophies of all.
