"London's Best Hotel Restaurant" Crowne Plaza Hotel London-The City Tip by hessef1
Crowne Plaza Hotel London-The City, London: 2,123 reviews and 1 photos
I live and work in London and have eaten in plenty restaurants in the last 2,5 years and this one is a hidden gem. Refettorio is "a showcase for traditional, regional Italian food made from the highest quality fresh ingredients" as it states on their website. It is benifiting of Michelin star Giorgio Locatelli's reputation who is directing this restaurant. However the hotel's kitchen crew and own chef are producing great dishes and their own creations.
The whole crew in the restaurant is Italian and give the place a very Italian touch... Their home made Pasta is divine. I have never tasted a ravioli filled with pheasant before and must say it is a great creation, which I have since tried several times.
I have seen that they have a pre-theatre menu on Friday evenings, which is a great value for money offer. overall I must say it is a normally priced restaurant for London with exceptional athmosphere and food.
Unique Qualities: Italian Gem in London
Homemade Food - NO PIZZA, which is great.
