      Don't let me down!

I have a great respect for gravity so I watched and waited in the wings for a week without worry whilst others went first.

As there were no mishaps I figured that the operators had a fair idea what they were doing so I parted with some cash and asked to be taken for a ride (not to be mistaken for retail therapy).

So after a quickly delivered safety brief I was strapped in and harnessed under a giant cloth. The boat started its powerful outboard motor and I was "asked" to start walking. This soon hurried into a trot as the boat gathered speed and pulled me swiftly into the air.

I quickly ascended with the thought of "yes!"... it was exciting at first but then as I hit cruising altitude I looked around and wondered... "now what?". Once you're up there you can hardly feel any motion and there's nothing to do but to admire the view of the island from up high and count the bay's bountiful jellyfish down below.

As I'm pulled into the high;
Far from the land;
Close to the sky.

Soaring up and oh so high;
Past whispy clouds;
And birds that fly.
