"Feed the birds" Notre Dame de Paris Tip by clueless83

Notre Dame is one of the attractions in Paris but the highlight of my visit to Notre Dame was feeding the birds. There was a man randomly standing in the grounds infront of the cathedral feeding the sparrows that live in the hedges. If you approach the man he will give you some bread and position your arm so the sparrows will fly up and feed from your hand! Some pigeons landed on my hand too, I didn't mind feeding them as well but the man scared them away. The birds in Paris seem to be quite tame.

Also, if you fancy a snack there's a nice little cafe next to Notre Dame which sells delicious ice cream cones. I did end up feeding a bit of my cone to a disabled pigeon, I love all creatures!
