This relatively new church was built in 1937 but is located on the site of an earlier church. St. Petka is a favourite saint of Belgraders and many locals visit the church to pray to St. Petka and the ill come to wash their hands and face in the spring located by the church which is said to have miraculous healing powers. The remains of St. Petka is said to have lain here until the 16th century and the saint's hand is still located in the church. The church interior displays relatively recent mosaics by Duro Radulovic created between 1980 and 1983.
The church is located very close to the Rose Church in Kalemegdan
Directions: The church is located very close to Ruzica Church (see tip on Ruzica Church for directions)
