Grenada Things to Do: 147 reviews and 324 photos

The flag of Grenada is made up of the Pan-African colours of Red, Gold and Green reflecting the island?s African heritage. The current flag was official adopted in 1974. There are 7 stars which represent the 7 parishes of the island. The central star is within a red disk and is a dedication to Saint George after whom the capital of Grenada was named. Just to note: St George is not the Patron Saint of Grenada. To finish it off, there is a Clove of Nutmeg, Grenada's principal crop, in the left-hand corner.
