"Cycle Touring - Security" Devon Warnings Or Dangers Tip by travelinxs

Having your bike nicked whilst on a biking trip is going to be a little inconvenient to say the least. A decent lock is obvious, though the better the lock the heavier it is. I have an 'Onguard' combination lock which I hope will sufice. Im trying to develop a way of securing the bike to the tent at night and will let you know how I get on.

I also carry a whistle as wont be cycling alone which may come in useful when trying to get the others attension further down the road. Infact Ive always carried a whistle.. just in case.

As for the cyclists best friend, the dog, Im working on that one too!
