If you dreamed of spending the night with a gorgeous view of cliffs from your window, but never had the courage to spend the hundreds of euros required in "pop" places like Santorini, don´t worry....there´s a place where you can sleep over the top of a high cliff, overlooking the sea, for a very affordable price. That place is the Hotel Castro.
This hotel is located inside the kastro of Chora village, and is owned by a very polite and helpful lady, Miss Despo Danassi, that has inherited the location from her ancestors.
The place itself is very simple, and the rooms are small, so if you are looking for luxury and loads of comfort it´s best to look for some other place....bare in mind that you will be paying for the view (and my God, it´s the best ever!).

Unique Qualities: Qualities:

-easy to find (ask for anyone!);
-helpful owner (knwos the island like the palm of her hand);
-clean rooms;
-a very nice terrace on the roof top;
-the greatest view on the edge of the cliff!
-air con.

Weak points:

-rooms are small and simple; they do not correspond to the price (the location does)
-no tv (but who will watch tv on a place like that?).
