Calauit Island - Philippines

This small island just north of Busuanga in the Calamian group offer a unique, African safari experience in the Philippines. During the marcos era, several species of African wildlife, including zebras and giraffes as well as several species of antelopes were introduced here, and most have thrived.
Additionally, the island is also a good place to see some rare wildlife endemic to the Philippines, notably the Calamian Deer.
