This is a lovely place on north side of Bandon Town, a short walk over the river and into the village. David (the chef) and his sister Catherine (hostess extraordinaire) were wonderful company and founts of information. Catherine remodeled this old Georgian Home into a nice B&B with a great garden out back. On a couple of evenings we bought take out and a bottle of wine for a picnic dinner. David's breakfasts keep us going well into the day. There is a O'Haras pub is 50 meters down the street and a Punjabi/Pakistani restaurant is a 5 minute walk at the bottom of the hill
Only 30 minutes west of the Cork Airport, Bandon is easily accessible if you have a car.
Unique Qualities: Garden out back and Grainne the friendly dog. Catherine let us do some laundry and she has a computer set up for free internet use. There are about three sitting rooms and a solarium for reading or talking.
