"Fern Canyon Trail" Russian Gulch State Park Things to Do Tip by SteveOSF

The Waterfall on the Fern Canyon Trail
by SteveOSF

The Fern Canyon Trail travels through a coastal forest. A good part of the trail follows alongside a stream. The trail will eventually come to a fork. The middle path will lead to the foot of a 36-foot high waterfall that runs most of the year. The round trip to the waterfall and back is just under 5 miles. The trail is not difficult but does steepen between the fork and the waterfall.

Directions: The trailhead can be found at the easternmost point of the park's campground.
