If you get tired of enjoying the wildlife and feel like hiking, you can head to the Wall of Tears, a wall built by convicts in the 1500s. It's reached via a 7 km coastal path that is more of a four wheel drive track. We started out a bit late and wound up going off the path and onto the beach. It was a gorgeous sunset and it seemed silly to walk on jeep track when there was this incredible beach right next to it. We had heard the wall was nothing spectacular so just enjoyed the walk on the beach and setting sun. Besides, we were salty from snorkeling and in need of hot shower. It was getting close to dinnertime!
Directions: The path is an extension of the road that runs right through town. The sandy street becomes the sandy four wheel drive track which is the trail too.
