With a tuktuk you can easily get to the Tad Sae waterfalls. The tuktuk will drop you at a small village near the Nam Khan river. The smaller boats will bring you to the entrance of the Tad Sae waterfalls. A small footpath will lead you to the falls. We were there in july, and at first we were a little disappointed. The falls and were almost dry and there were just some small bassins filled with blue water. But even though the falls weren't that spectacular at that time, it was a true idyllic spot. Surrounded by beautifull nature, with giant leaves, and a million of pink libelle-insects flying around, this was an unique spot. We stayed for a couple of hours, the children played in the water and climbed through all the bassins. We hardly saw any other people. There was a small restaurant, but too bad we couldn't buy dishes. So we only bought some snacks and drinks.
We really had a good time here, and further on in the year I truly believe it is even more magic.
