If there is one street to get to know in Nice it's this one. This is the main avenue that runs from the train station all the way down near Old Town and the Beach. There is a tram that runs up and down this avenue as well, which makes it easy to get around. If you are looking to for a way to determine where to book a hotel, make sure it's near this main avenue.
