"Paris- I would not recommend..." France Transportation Tip by annk

France Transportation: 289 reviews and 241 photos

Paris- I would not recommend driving but would take the Metro (subway), or double-decker tour buses where you can hop on and off as you please, narrative in English.

Outside Paris - The TGV, or 'Train a Grand Vitesse' is the French high-speed train, track and signalling technologies. Trains are modern, efficient, safe, and can travel at speeds up to 186 mph or 300 km/h. There are 3 routes - TGV Nord from Paris Gare du Nord, TGV Atlantique from Paris Gare Montparnasse, and TGV Sud-Est from Paris Gare de Lyon.

Type: Train
