"Off to the beach and more" Province of Palawan Packing List Tip by Yla

Province of Palawan What to Pack: 8 reviews and 2 photos

Luggage and bags: Regular luggage are ok when you stay in hotels in Puerto Princesa or in the mainland. Bring waterproof bags when staying in the islands. Pack light.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Travelling during the summer can get very hot, bring shorts, light tees and tank tops, insect repellant esp when going to the subterranean river area. A hat or scarf, sunblock, a small fan can help beat the summer heat. Temperature can get as high as 37 degrees during Phil summer. Rubber sandals that straps around the ankle or water shoes are advised esp when trekking rocky beaches and as protection from sharp coral reefs.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Except for prescription and specialty drugs and supplements, almost all regular toiletries and medicines are available so you don't have to bring any. Go on, save luggage space by buying your usual supplies locally and help the local industry.

Photo Equipment: Waterproof camera will be great to take those unique underwater shots of you and coral gardens.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Bring your snorkling gear. If your luggage has the space, its always preferred to use your own rather than rent.
