Unveiled in 2004, the Animals in War statue was commissioned by the Imperial War Museum as a tribute to the animals that have served in the wars of the 20th century, there are two bronze mules, a horse and a dog with a panel featuring the other animals, dolphins, elephants, pigeons and glow worms (what they were used for I haven't the foggiest idea)

The monument is located on Park Lane on a grassy median just south of Marble Arch and just east of Hyde Park.
