The Mayflower: "Off the Beaten Path" Liverpool Restaurant Tip by LJ_isthewalrus

I found this restaurant after walking around Albert Dock and discovering that most of the restaurants there were closed in the evening, or were a little too up-scale for my liking. The Mayflower is a simple enough restaurant, serving Peking and Cantonese (Chinese) food with decent prices and good taste. My meal was 7 pounds, and then 2.20 for the fruit plate for dessert.
Favorite Dish: I had the Sweet and Sour Chicken with Fried Rice, and a fruit plate of grapes and orange slices for dessert.
Address: Duke Street
Price Comparison: about average
Directions: Fairly close to Albert Dock
Theme: Chinese/Dim Sum
