Palacio Santos is the name of this beautiful building in the centre of the city and it is the building of the Ministry of foreign affairs nowadays. Palacio Santos was built between 1881 and 1886 and you can enter it freely and without restrictions during the day. Taking photographs is no problem at all, there is just a guard - in my case it was a nice lady - who made sure that no tourists would enter any of the doors that are off limits for them.
Address: Av. 18 de Julio Nr. 1205
Directions: Palacio Santos is the small building that you see on my last picture. It is at the crossing of Avenida 18 de Julio Nr. 1205 and Cuareim.
