Valencia Things to Do: 525 reviews and 1,179 photos

Valencia was once a Roman capital and whenever there are some public works done in the city it would be very normal to come across some Roman ruins in all parts of the city.

La plaza de la almoina stores some very valuable remains of the past history of the city of Valencia. After around 21 years of restoration work in a place behind the cathedral of Valencia you will find the museums called el Museo de La Almoina. Viewed from the top you will find a thin layer of water projecting some ruins. This thin film of water acts as a magnifier to see the restored ruins and other works of this place in a very nice way.

The surrounding areas of the Plaza de la almoina have in store beautifully restructured buildings that will surely attract your attention. Go ahead and enjoy a part of the history of this magnificent city of Valencia.

The timings to visits are the following 10-14h, 16.30-20h Tuesdays to Saturdays; 10-14h on Sundays.

Address: Plaza de la Almoina, s/n, Valencia, 46003
