The beautigul Kappelle is located on Nikolausberg, on the right side of Marienberg and in front of the Main river. The Kappelle is a rococo sanctuary built by Balthasar Neumann in 1752 and it has got three domes. The interior of the church is full of wonderful plasters made by Johann Michael Feichtmayr and frescos made by Matthaus Gunther in 1752. The church is reached with a stairway with 14 chapels showing the Via Crucis with statues realized by Peter Wagner among 1767 and 1775.
