"Winter travel" Yellowstone National Park Sports & Outdoors Tip by Segolily
Yellowstone National Park Sports & Outdoors: 5 reviews and 9 photos
There are only two ways to get around the interior of the park in winter; a snowcoach/van or snowmobiles. We took both. I highly recommend a trip into Old Faithful. Then if you can take a tour out from there take advantage of the opportunity.
There are cross country ski trails groomed in many parts of the park. If you are able to do this it would be an awesome experience. Quiet and peaceful.
You'll want to know where the warming huts are. They have wood stoves that are great after a cold drive or workout.
