Staff falls head over heels with meringue...

Opposite the Borough Street Markets, Patisserie Lila offers a small range of mouth-watering range of pastries, divine gateaux, fresh fruit tarts, biscuits, savouries and cute cup cakes. A simple lunch is thrown into the menu. It's a rather inviting little premise, which always seem to be full at any time of the day. Coffee is decent and service is swift and polite. Bare in mind the 'polite' policy that is stated on menus: drink orders must be accompanied with food, plus a 10% surcharge. Perhaps the rent is rather high in such a posh location.

Favorite Dish: Strawberry cup cake. A succulent strawberry perches on top of the cup cake. The jam filling is lovely and not too sweet. 3.00 to eat in.
