Favorite thing: I have found this school to offer the best programs and at a great price for learning Spanish. It is a real school....Instituto de Ensenanza Superior En Lenguas Vivas Espanol Para Extranjeros (ELE)
Spanish for Foreigners Adults They offer several different levels from Elementary to Advanced. The elementary class is 4 hours a day four days a week for a total of 64 classroom hours and the cost was $arg 400. About what some of the private schools charge for a week or two. They do accept credit cards for payment.

You must register in person at Carlos Pellegrini 1515 Oficina de Cursos room 2 Monday - Friday 10 am to 8 pm. You can email them for information and also to register cursoslv@gmail.com You also must take a placement exam, bring in your passport when you register.

This is operated by the Secretary of Education for the City of Buenos Aires.
