"List of things to do..." Flagstaff Things to Do Tip by Clevermoniker

Flagstaff Things to Do: 134 reviews and 364 photos

-Hiking (awesome trails in the area; Flagstaff has the Urban Trail System that connects up with the Arizona Trail, so easy walking hikes are accessible from all areas of Flag.)
-Mountain Biking
-Lava Tubes (lava cave that's really "cool")
-Elden Pueblo Ruins (you can help excavate!)
-Walnut Canyon Nat'l Park (fairly easy 0.5 day hike; Indian Ruins)
-Fishing/camping at various local small lakes
-Made in the Shade Beer Festival (
-Fat Tire Festival (although there's a rumor going around that the Sheriff's department has shut it down....they may also be trying to get the Made in the Shade fesival to be gone as well...)
-4th of July Parade (one time of the year that the entire population of Flagstaff is all downtown!)
-Friday Nights on the Square (free family movies outside once weather warms up)
-First Friday Artwalk (art galleries downtown stay open later on the first Friday of the month)
-10's Rugby Tournament (usually the last weekend of September; longest continuously running competitive event in N. AZ)

-Skiing (yes, we get snow in Arizona!)
-WinterFest (February)
-First Friday Artwalk (fewer people attend during the winter, which means you're not having to fight for all the free munchies the galleries give out!)
