The port of Valparaiso is an interesting place to go for the whole family and in the southern summertime ( Nov.- march) you will see plenty of cruiseships there every week, because many of them start or end their Southamerica-cruises in Valparaiso.
At the same time you will see cargo-ships as well as some war-ships of the chilean navy, you will see some old cannons, a monument for Christoph Columbus and the old wooden ship, that you will see on my pics 2-4.

Directions: This part of the port of Valparaiso is about 100 meters from Plaza Sotomayor.
