"Weirdos at Crickley Hill country park" Birdlip Warnings Or Dangers Tip by Elodie_Caroline

Well, we don't know if this is a usual occurance here? But the evening that we were here, on 11th July 2005, we had parked in this small car park overlooking the country park, it must have been around 8.30 pm. The place was full of cars and blokes, there were no women, except me, to be seen, just loads of single blokes, old and young, and their cars. One of the blokes, only a young one, was looking out over the view and he kept edging up closer and closer to our car. Finally, he went back to his car, got in it and drove off; 5 minutes later, he was back! He looked straight into the back of our car, where we were sitting and having a drink. Chris and I reckoned that: either a load of old hookers got up here, so that's what these sad gits were waiting for, or it was a meeting place for gays? It just felt very strange being observed by a load of blokes on their own all of the while we were there.
