State of Western Australia Things to Do: 392 reviews and 878 photos

Leeman is just 295kms north of Perth and is one of the many little fishing villages along the coast. The Australian Sea Lion has its largest population just north of Leeman on Beagle Island where numbers fluctuation from 150 to 250 depending on the breeding season. Access to this island is restricted but there are tours available. On Thomas St there is a track and Ti Tree Lookout. It is a little bit of a climb with no hand railing most of the way. There is a sign which says ?Tee Tree Lookout, our fishermen used this tree to navigate home 1957 ? 2000?. I suspect they either mean ?Ti Tree? or 'Tea Tree'.
