to get to Oak Park on the subway (El), take the GREEN line. get off on the 2nd stop from the end. It's the OAK PARK stop. when you get off the subway, go down the stairs and turn left. Walk a block or two and you'll see the better part of Oak Park. From downtown Chicago, it takes about 20-25 minutes to get here.

Frank Lloyd Wrights home are about 3 blocks north and 3 blocks to the west of the stop.
Hemingway's home and museum is on Oak Park avenue about 3 blocks north of the station.
