Augusta Things to Do: 7 reviews and 1 photos

The Boone Home, located nearby Augusta, in Defiance, Missouri, is one of several Boone family homes in the area. The home was actually owned by one of Daniel Boone's sons, but Daniel spent the last part of his life residing here. There are other period displays being moved to the area around the home, with the goal being to form a "Boone Villiage". A good web link: www.greatriverroad.com/stcharles/boonehome.htm.
