Favorite thing: If you head towards the city centre from the airport, you will surely notice this neo-romanesque church-if you come in the evening, it`s lovely illumination is even more spectacular.
At the beginning of the XX.century this place was completely abbandoned and only a few people livd here. The bishop, János Csernoch gave a cross to the peple telling them: stick this cross into the ground wherever you want. Than wie will construct a church on it`s place. This is how it recieved it`s name.
The church was built on Gáspár Fábián`s plans, was consacrated in 1930 and it was renovated recently.
It has a wonderful internal (later let`s see if I can make some photos).
