Just a short walk away from Windsor Castle on High Street, this is a lovely place to stop and have tea. On a weekday in January, there was no one besides us in the upstairs level but imagine that's not the case on the weekends or in the peak summer travel months. You can make a reservation during the week but not on weekends so expect to queue in the warmer months on the weekend.

Favorite Dish: Tea time tends to start around 2pm but they said we could still order tea even though it was only around noon. I opted for the Duchess of Bedfordhsire, a cream tea (£7.50) which is just a pot of tea and scones with jam and clotted cream while Kat opted for the Queen Anne, a more elaborate tea (£13) that came with sandwiches, fresh fruit and fruitcake in addition to the scones and tea. She promptly extracted all the poor cucumbers from the sandwiches but made a good dent in the rest of the sandwiches, the fresh fruit was lovely and the scones were very nice.

It was a bit expensive but expected it to be so for a touristy place near the Castle. The also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
