"Llandaff - "The Palace"" Llandaff Cathedral Tip by SabrinaSummerville

Llandaff Cathedral, Cardiff: 7 reviews and 23 photos

The old, and now derelict, Bishop's Palace in Llandaff was given by the Church to the City of Cardiff in 1971. The buildings were partially renovated (though still remain uninhabited) and the grounds were opened to the people in 1972.

Again, this was a playground of mine in the 1970's and I recall that my Uncle had an allotment (garden vegetable plot) there which he tended very carefully.

There are no vegetable plots there now, just immaculately tended lawns and walkways.
