Jamieson's Irish House and Grill: "Irish Pubs (4)" Top 5 Page for this destination Jamieson's Irish House and Grill Tip by tvor

Jamieson's is a bit off the beaten track and is located in Cole Harbour, Dartmouth. It's well worth the trip, though. It's got great atmosphere with a cushy seating area by a fireplace, lots of wood and antique photos and items around, and a very tasty menu. There's a fairly good beer selection. I've listed it as a pub but it's more like a gastro pub with an upper echelon menu of food but not to the point of gourmet-intimidating. It really is a great place! They often have live entertainment on the weekends but not in the winter.

Favorite Dish: Their wings are really good. Fish and Chips are fabulous. Ploughman's lunch is a huge plate full. Small vegetarian selection. Chicken, beef, lamb, pork, pasta, seafood and fish, all cooked perfectly
