The imperial capital of the mughals was built by Akbar the great between 1565-1573. before getting inside the fort you will flocked by many touts selling postcards and books just ignore them. Akbar built this fort on yamuna river and his grandson made this fort more imperial by building materials used as marble and gems.
must see is a Takhti-i-jehangir which is huge piece of black rock where jehagir was crowned.There are good views of taj from here. Entry to the fort is from Amar singh gate, it cost Rs300 and Rs25 for video/camera .
