montepuez is a small hotel in the center of lisbon next to rossio.
it's a grotty little place with dingy rooms and it was frequented by prostitutes too when i stayed there.
it's centrally located and cheap though, so if you don't mind a simple place and the clintele, then i guess it's an ok choice.
i was fine there myself for one night.
i really liked the reception.
it was so tacky and smelled like an old brothel.

i would not recommend this place to people with kids, but for people on a budget who wants a centrally located place it can do for a night or two.

Unique Qualities: a very old toy eagel in the reception :O)

Address: rud d. duarte 2, 4th floor.
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Directions: next to rossio.
Price: US$20-40
Theme: Hotel
