The stretch of land between Nice and Monaco captures one breathtaking sight after another. Eze has the happy situation of being only about 10 minutes from either Nice or Monaco (when traffic is cooperating). Transportation by bus is available on a regular schedule from each town; check the website (www.eze-reviera.com) timetables, days of service, and fares. Regular train service from either town is also available and arrives at the station on the lower corniche. Check the same website for timetables, days of service and fares. Both types of transportation seem to have more frequent service during the summer months.

If arriving by tour bus or car, there is a decent size parking lot by the Tourist Information Office located near the Avenue Jardin Exotic & Moyenne Corniche.

In the accompanying photo, see that from the bus parking lot the castle ruins and church tower can be seen on Mt. Bastide. Although there were many buses offloading tourists, the village did not feel crowded to me.
