"A kind of an expensive shop!" Selfridges Tip by gordonilla
Selfridges, London: 16 reviews and 20 photos
It was founded in 1909 by Harry Gordon Selfridge, and American. The store is the second largest in the UK, only beaten by Harrods. The phrase " the customer is always right" comesa from this location.
What to buy: A real "Departmental Store" so lots to chose from - although I am sure the selection is the same as many other shops on Oxford Street or even the local High Street.
What to pay: It is a little expensive - so what can you afford?
