The Elephants Head: "Very Good Food At Reasonable Prices" East Sussex Restaurant Tip by ChrisnJan

East Sussex Restaurants: 17 reviews and 27 photos

A very nice pub/restaurant serving very good food and some very nice real ales. The food is reasonably priced and the portions are good, especially the whitebait! The interior of the pub is quite small and delightfully traditional, there is a conservatory with tables laid up for food and then there is the large garden with a kids climbing frame/slide and see-saw's. There is plenty of outside seating around three sides of the pub this is a very nice family friendly place to visit on fine summer days.
This pub is set back from the road in a lovely rural area but while this is a plus point it also makes it very difficult to get here without a car!
