"Malaga II" Andalucía Things to Do Tip by blint

Apart from the coast there are other interesting things to visit in the province of Malaga, such as Ronda a typical white village which is famous for it's bridge (Tajo de Ronda) that fills a deep gorge. It is a nice place to spend a day and also is home to the oldest bull ring in Spain. Interestingly enough more foreign tourists have visited Ronda than Spanish tourists! That's probably due to the fact Malaga is a holiday spot for foreign tourists and not for Spanish ones who prefer Cadiz.
You can visit or take a trip to the mountains as Malaga has a great Sierra with lots of interesting hikes and mountains to walk or climb up!
Antequera is well worth a visit too if you are in the area. It is filled with churches and convents and is very well maintained. You can visit the Alcazaba, the Giant's Arch or go and see the strange rock formations near to the town in El Torcal. Be sure not to miss the La peña de los Enamorados (The lament of the lovers)which is a hill shaped like a face that not only looks interesting but has an interesting love story attached.
